Vanguard - Balances on Account Do Not Match

The amount listed on the left of my Vanguard 401K does not match what is actually in the account when I click on the account. Is there any way for me to correct that or enter the correct balance (on the left) manually?

To be clear, the balance on the left does not equal the Total Market Value for the stocks (which is the correct number).

There is no way to manually adjust balances in the account list. They should always be in sync. But it can also vary depending on which account balance you are showing in the account list.
The first thing to check is what type of balances are showing in your account list. Right click anywhere on the account list and check which option is checked - current balances or ending balances.
The next thing to check is if there are any hidden placeholders in your account. First verify that the option to show placeholders is checked in Preferences. Then check to see if there are any unresolved placeholders in the account register.
If all else fails, you can do a data file validate and see if that fixes the balance issue. You can find this option under File - Validate and Repair File.
