Updating my credit card online to renew as usual and never received an activation code

I updated my credit card with quicken classic online with no problem. Inside the software it continues to say update or active up top on a yellow bar but my card is activated. it looks as if they are not charging my card for some reason! This is very frustrating. No code is in trash or spam and I've been using this product over 20 years! Why in the heck can I not get in? one I open quicken and try to update from the bank or download transactions, up top it keeps popping up I need to activate and I confirmed the card is correct and put it in twice yesterday AND there is plenty of credit on the card so no clue. and yes I am using the same login and account name i always have. I have tried desperately to work on this over saturday and sunday when I'm off and have time to do so and OF COURSE I cannot get an agent then!

Thanks in advance if you know. I didn't expect to need an activation code anyway. Just to renew my card number as it had expried so I'm like lost!

@Leigh04 the message you are getting isn't asking for you to activate your credit card. I think it's asking you to reactivate your credit card account set up on Quicken.

What credit card is it? Is it the only credit card with the bank?

After you have updated your subscription at your account at https://www.quicken.com/my-account (US) or https://www.quicken.com/canada/my-account (Canada) you do not receive a new Activation Code. But you still need to do the following:

At a minimum, restart Quicken so that it can "call home" during startup, to retrieve your updated subscription status. That should get you out of expired state.

If that doesn't work, in Quicken go to Help / Check Subscription Status
Or go to Edit / Preferences / Quicken ID and Cloud Accounts. Select "Sign in as a different user". Follow this procedure to log out and log back in using the Quicken ID and password you used on the My-account webpage.
