ETrade/Morgan Stanley automatically switched over to "Simple Investing" from "Complete" [Edited]

Only my accounts at ETrade/Morgan Stanley, automatically switched over to "Simple Investing" from "Complete". I have Quicken R62.16… I need/use Complete as Simple is of no use to me. Quicken will allow me to switch to Complete but only if the accounts are deactivated for downloads, WHAT ??? This is the ONLY reason I pay for Quicken, so I can have automatic downloads of all transactions. .. I use Windows 11 and have been a happy Quicken user for many years. Anyone have an answer how to switch back to Complete and still be able to download (Web Connect)? Quicken phone help could not solve issue and ETrade representative said they are doing nothing different. Thanks!

Hi @USA-Lenny
Can you tell us when this "switch over" change occurred? If it was recently, your best bet on getting back to "Complete" may be simply reverting to the most recent backup prior to the switch over.
Let me know if that works for you.

I too have the same problem with Etrade. I also have been a Quicken and Etrade user in Windows 11 for many years, but last week I noted that my joint brokerage account at Etrade was not downloading. I reset the account with no luck and then tried deactivating and reactivating the account. That process automatically changed it from "Complete," which I have used for many years, to "Simple Investing." I then went back to an earlier backup file and tried to get downloads to work again, trying reset and deactivate/activate, but the results were the same: "Complete" was switched to "Simple Investing" and still no downloads.
Also, my two Etrade Roth brokerage accounts have stopped downloading. I use a security token with Etrade which none of the brokerage accounts request when I try to download. But my Etrade bank account requests the token code and still downloads.
In addition, in the activation process, the brokerage account was found at Etrade and and I told it to link with my correct account in Quicken, but instead it created a new Quicken account with the Etrade account number but no entries. Appreciate any help you can give.
