Quicken for Mac splits no longer allow transfer?

In the latest update for Mac, it appears transfers are no longer an option when splitting transactions? Will this be coming back? I have long split my mortgage & HELOC transactions into Principle, Escrow & Interest categories but also logged transfers to Principle & Escrow accounts to keep those balances accurate. Some of my annual budget lines are driven by the Transfer transactions. To have this option removed will upend some of my workflow. It's been such a long-standing functionality, I am really surprised to see it removed. Can anyone offer any insight?

Ah yes, that's true. If you want to see the Transfer column within the splits, it needs to be a visible column in the register. That said, you can still use the "Transfer:[accountname]" nomenclature in the Category field without having the Transfer column visible.

This has not changed. Transfers are definitely still allowed for individual lines within a split transaction.

Could you post a screenshot or two of what you're seeing that makes it appear that transfers are not allowed within split transactions?

Sure, thanks for the quick response! I have actually figured it out, it appears to be a change to the View setting. I usually don't have 'Transfer' showing in the ledger view, so the box is not ticked under the View menu which never used to restricted the transfer info from the split view.

Apparently, that needs to be ticked and in the ledger view for it to show when making splits now.
