Add "Add Shares" to the dropdown menu on the Investment "Add Transactions" sheet

I'm a new Quicken Mac user. I completed a first download from my IRA manager. After selecting a specific security I added the "Total Cost" (leaving dropdown to "Buy"). I noticed that the Market Value of the IRA account was decremented with each entry. I figured out that I needed to change the dropdown from "Buy" to "Add Shares" to prevent the account market value from decrementing but you cannot do this in the "Add Transaction" sheet.

To change from "Buy" to "Add Shares" you have to do this from the account register. This extra step could be avoided if you could select "Add Shares" from within the "Add Transaction" sheet. My spouse and I have 4 IRA & Roth accounts each with 20 to 30 securities. The process to edit each security THEN going back in the register to change the Type from "Buy" to Add Shares" was tedious.
