@arnstein when you sign in as a different user, are you using this process -

    https://info.quicken.com/win/how-do-i-sign-in-as-a-different-user

Otherwise here are some other things to try -

    1. Check Your Internet Connection – Make sure your internet is working properly by opening a web browser and visiting a website.
    2. Disable VPN – If you're using a VPN, try turning it off and restarting Quicken.
    3. Firewall & Antivirus Settings – Ensure that your firewall or antivirus software isn't blocking Quicken's access to the internet. You may need to allow Quicken through your security settings.
    4. Check Secure Connection Settings – Some older Windows systems require enabling TLS settings in Internet Options. Go to Windows Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced tab, and enable all available TLS options.
    5. Restart Your Router & Computer – Sometimes a simple reboot of your network router and computer can resolve connectivity issues.
    6. Check for Error Codes – If Quicken provides a specific error number, search for it in Quicken's support documentation.
    7. Pop-Up Blockers – If you have a pop-up blocker enabled, it might interfere with Quicken's online services. Try disabling it temporarily.
