No Longer a split?

I am on a Mac, Not only are my past splits now limited to categories, the information which identified who got paid miss is missing AND I can no longer put it in. Used to be sometimes be automatic. What has changed? Mac did an update last night, ( sequoia 15.5) but that shouldn't change the Quicken data. Why is this important? I can no longer pull supplier information that was paid with a credit card and manually input, nor generate reports. ( no my file is not corrupted I checked)

There was a recent change to the way columns are displayed in splits. It used to be that the columns that were displayed when editing splits were fixed and always displayed regardless of whether those columns were displayed in the register or not. Now the only columns that are always displayed for a split are the Category, Amount and Memo/Notes columns - any other columns you want to see when editing a split transaction have to be turned on in the register also.

FYI, an update got pushed out this evening that reverts this change - the tag column is always displayed for splits again, so you don't have to turn it on in the register anymore. Select "Check For Updates" in the main Quicken menu to get version 8.2.1.
