Soppiong automatic update of specific currency exchange rate

Hi

Is there a way to fix the exchange reate of US$ to CAD$ in quicken so that when I change it, it says the same and does not get updated as the others?

Current version: Quicken Classic (Canada) R62.18

    I think the only option is to deselect "update currency rates" and avoid updating all the F/X rates. It is an all or nothing switch/setting.

    I'm quite curious, why would you want to artificially fix the CAD:USD rate? What does that accomplish?
