OSU settings

When I click the OSU button in the toolbar, it used to start running the update. But now, in the last month or so, it goes to the OSU settings box, and then I have to click update.

Did this change recently? Did I mess up a setting somewhere?

@Procopio when you first open Quicken and do an OSU, it always immediately starts. If you do another OSU during the same session, it will pull up the settings box, and continue to pull up the settings box for subsequent OSUs during that session. AFAIK, it has always worked this way.

No, that's what has changed. When I first open Quicken and do an OSU, it used to immediately start. But now it goes straight to the settings dialog. That's what I don't understand.

@Procopio I see. I don't think there is a setting that controls this behavior. Have you tried doing a file validate or super validate to see if that makes a difference?

Click on File→File Validate and Repair, then choose "Validate file". To do a super validate, press "Ctrl-Shift" while clicking on "File Validate and Repair".

Also check to see if ALL of your OSU accounts are activated. If you've turned one off, it might be pausing at the list to allow you to turn accounts on/off before doing the update.

For me, any time I have any OSU accounts not included in the comprehensive download, the listing pops up. And because of several MFA requirements I have three banks turned off for automatic download.
