How do you remove accounts from transfers in Classic

Question

I have made sure all three boxes are check marked in display options and the account it closed. Yet the accounts still show up when I am in "transfers" section. How do I make it go away from an account I can transfer into. The Ai response isnt helpful

@blkvette94 when an account is closed it should automatically be suppressed from the transfer list.  That is the way it supposed to work.  I think it works correctly in new data files.  If you were to set up a new data file (not just a new copy) and test it out, I assure you that it will work.

I think what this might mean is that when the programmers installed this feature, they couldn't install it for the data files that were already created, only new data files going forward.

I don't know why this doesn't work as advertised and if or when Quicken is going to really fix it …

As a workaround, rename all these account register names to begin with zzz- (e.g., zzz-ABC Bank Checking)

This will sort these accounts to the bottom of the selection list and serve as an eyecatcher, to make it less likely to be selected by mistake.
