One of the savings accounts that I have linked in quicken suddenly stopped being able to get transactions from my bank. This was strange because the checking account and a second savings account in that same bank updated without any issues.
Anyway, after trying over a couple of days, I was finally able to reconnect to that to that account. However, quicken created a NEW account register for it with a slightly different name. But the transactions in the new account register only go back for one year. So I need to merge all the transactions from the old register to the new one, with the exception of the transactions that do exist in the new register.
I have read several explanations of how to move transactions from one register to another, but every time I do this, the amount shown as the balance is completely wrong, and so I keep having to revert to my backup.
I need some step by step help on this.
