product/job add to register column

How do we get Quicken to add product/job to register column? To me it seems a very simple addition and would help me out a lot tracking client payments associated with their account number. Since QUicken already has it on the invoice, why can't quicken just pull this and put it onto the registr column and then it can be simply added by checking the box. Thank you, Jim
