Not all transactions download
I have an equity account with Smith Barney. In looking carefully at all transactions I noticed there's one circumstance where transactions do not download. That is when there is Foreign Tax paid. The Smith Barney site records these events as one single transaction which is a Dividend and a Foreign Tax for the same amount. Thus, the net relative to Cash is zero but Quicken will then not have these Dividends or Foreign taxes paid when I create a report.
Have others seen this circumstance > failure to download a combo transaction with a net of zero?
How do others who have seen this phenomena handle it? Ignore? Manual entry? Another work around?
I'd prefer to have both the dividend and foreign tax automatically downloaded which would allow Quicken to match Dividends and Taxes when Smith Barney issues its 1099 at the end of the year.

@acs2 what do the transactions look like in your statement or online account? If the Quicken update file doesn't download the transactions the way you want or need, then there is nothing wrong with changing or updating the transactions in Quicken to better fit with tax reporting.
