Shares transferred between accounts - removed side of transactions disappeared

This has happened in two different accounts recently.

In 2022 I moved 401(k) shares from one account to another using Shares Transferred Between Accounts. All of the shares from the sending account were removed and were added to the receiving account as expected.

Today I noticed that the sending account shows all of the shares of stocks that were transferred to the receiving account back in 2022. If I attempt to remove the shares Quicken says I'm trying to remove more shares than available. Specify Lots shows shares, but when I select them and try to complete the transaction Quicken gives that message. Another account with shares transferred out has the same problem.

Anyone else experiencing this? Probably going to roll back to a backup in which this isn't happening. But if there's a fix I would rather not do that.

Thanks.

@mtbdog the transactions may be there. Check your account register sort by clicking on the Date column. Also verify that the dates of the missing transactions didn't get changed somehow.

If you click on the "gear" icon in the upper right of the account register, and select "Reconcile Shares…", what is the result?
