In account details, I can indicate if an account is savings, checking, brokerage, IRA, etc.

Can I report account balances and subtotal them by this account type?

@EmKay the closest thing I can think of is to export your Account List to a CSV file and open in a spreadsheet where you can subtotal by Account Type. The Account List is already grouped by Account Type and has account balances (current and ending). The only thing missing is a subtotal by Account Type, which is why you would need to open the CSV file in a spreadsheet to add the subtotal.

    Please try this:
In the Accounts Sidebar title click the gear icon.
Hover the mouse pointer over Show subgroup totals.
In the 2nd popup menu click to enable one or both options and try the results.

This is not a printed report, but it'll show you the requested group totals.

@UKR - Sorry - I want to try this, but you lost me at "In the Accounts Sidebar title click the gear icon."

I don't see a gear icon in my accounts sidebar ?

Aah, because I use "classic" menus. I see it if I switch to "standard."

That works, too, and I don't need to run a report! Thanks
