I have three different Chase cards. Each month, when I get my bill, I categorize my transactions for each card under each card separately: e.g., CC0859 was 2,222.22, and I split that up among the various categories. I save the transaction. In a new transaction, CC4323 was 4444.44 and I split that one up. When I save it, it changes CC0859 to the same splits and same total as the one I just saved instead of leaving it as I entered it. In a new transaction, CC1288 was 555.55, and I split that up into a new transaction. And immediately, all THREE transactions are saved to match CC1288. How do I convince Quicken to save each transaction the way I've entered it?
