On the home Portfolio page for an account (see attachment), it lists the date in DD/MM/YYYY format instead of MM/DD/YYYY as I prefer (in the USA) and as correctly listed on the Transactions window. How do I fix the Portfolio page setting?
Using a Mac with OS 15.4.1 with Quicken Classic Business & Personal Version 8.2.1.

It looks to me like Quicken uses the date format appropriate for whatever region you have your Mac set to in System Settings > General > Language & Region. Set it to US and you get M/D/Y date formatting, set it to somewhere in Europe & you get D/M/Y. I don't think there's a way to change the formatting for Quicken specifically. (If you change the system setting you have to restart Quicken for it to take effect in the app.)

This occurred to me as well, after doing an Apple software update to Sequoia 15.6. As I booted Quicken I noticed all the dates were changed to "international" format [July 30, 2025 shows a 30/07/2025].

The AI solution from Quicken Web page did not help, as it suggested a Windows preference window that did not exist. So I tried as you suggested going to the System Settings (under the Apple menu) > General > Language & Region. I closed Quicken and restarted Quicken, but the International setting persisted. I will do a complete computer reboot and try again. Of course that will close this window, so I will report back in a bit.

I can live with the 30/07/2025 format, assuming that automatic downloads from my brokerage account will translate correctly….

After a computer reboot, and a somewhat lengthy chat with the AI bot (Fin) the best answer I got that this issue had been fixed in Quicken for Windows, but not for Mac

The update to Sequoia 15.6 seems to have puzzled Quicken into international dates for now data download. I have 15+ years of 07/31/2025 format and now it is 31/07/2025.

Maybe I should move to Canada after all….Double benefits of democracy and consistent date formats

As Jon noted, this isn't a Quicken setting, but a region/date formatting issue with your OS as Quicken displays dates based on how you have the former setup. I suspect your underlying problem is in your System Settings, as nobody else is noting this issue. Quicken simply uses the date format from the OS.

I wouldn't have much faith in AI answers
