Quicken stopped downloading transactions from Fidelity 8/2
Long time user of Quicken for Window. Have multiple Fidelity accounts that I have been downloading in Quicken for years. Purchased some new/additional securities last week and noticed they have yet to download to reconcile within Quicken. This stopped on-or-about Aug 2nd, 2025.

I am not sure is you are aware that Fidelity is in the process of migrating its downloading process from Direct Connect to a new methodology. Please take a look at this LINK for more information.

I disabled all my connections to my Fidelity accounts and recreated the connections and the downloads still would not work. The connection method appears to be Extended Web Connect (EWC+). Interestingly, I made a copy of my Quicken data file, opened it, and of course ALL account connections had to be re-established. This may be something,….in copy of my data file, when I re-connected to my Fidelity account(s), the downloads (all of them) came down. Now, what does that indicate???

It is difficult to say exactly, because you didn't indicate when the TWO different (??) copies of your datafile above were dated, and what may have transpired between those dates. It could have been related to a number of causes.
But, in any event, it appears that you have re-connected the accounts, at least for the time being.

the date of my data file was the day I posted here that I had a problem. I made a copy and then opened the copy. Downloads worked in the copy.

I'm facing exactly the same issue. Around 08/01/25 Quicken stopped downloading any data from Fidelity. I does create though one bogus entry 'Contribution' with some imaginary cash contribution (note that I don't contribute any cash to this account) which doesn't even match any of the real actions. This behavior didn't get fixed in the latest (08/16/25) update.

P.S. I did go through the 'Fix It' and 'Reset Account' procedure, which didn't help.
