Online balance when creating new Quicken file/register

It turns out we've been using a mixed method for reconciling our account and therefore creating various problems. Thus, we want to start fresh with a new Quicken file/register. However, when we begin that process in Quicken, it asks us what our online opening balance is, after connecting to our bank. If we are starting with pending transactions, what do we use for our online opening balance in the register? Thank you for your assistance. (Quicken Classic Deluxe on Windows 11)

@DomW I think you can leave that opening balance at zero. Once you load the initial transactions from your financial institution, Quicken will calculate the opening balance for you. If not, you can always reconcile your current balance of the register with your Online Balance and adjust the Opening Balance accordingly.
