American Express and Quicken Bill Manager

In Bills and Income my American Express bill has stopped connecting. It was working fine. I don't pay my bills through Quicken; all my cards are on auto pay but it was helpful to have dollar info on upcoming due dates, minimum payment and payment in full.

I've been on several chats with Quicken support and I'm told that American Express don't do this anymore and I need to subscribe to Quicken bill pay; but it seems strange that Amex hasn't been doing this for years and yet mine only stooped working a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone else a way to resolve this?

@niven if you have your American Express CC bills on auto pay, there is no need set up Quicken Bill Pay. Just set up a manual reminder for the CC payment. If you need to have reminders for the payments, you can set them up with your online account with American Express.

yes I realize I have no need to set up Quicken Bill pay and I don't intend to. However, all my credit cards show under "Online Bills". Chase and Capital One cards (and Amex until 2 weeks ago) show the bill due date, the minimum payment, and the payment in full amount. That's handy to have and I'd like to get Amex to revert to showing detail as well so I'm hoping someone is able to tell me what they did to get it back (I have read that others had this problem and fixed it though now I can't find them :)

@niven I understand now. Thank you for that clarification. No, you won't get the same information as your other credit cards. A manual payment reminder is pretty simple and you won't be able to recreate the same "look" as your other credit cards. As I mentioned, the best you could do is set up reminders and alerts (e-mail and/or text) with American Express.
