moving home inventory data to new(from old) computer

HELP ! Just moved my quicken premier from old to new computer. i was able to restore the property 'home inventory' data file QHI.IDB…… all info. appears there BUT(always a but) some of the fields do not appear complete as they were on old computer. ex. model #'s, serial number fields, and the box at the bottom where you could input data like warranty info. or misc. data i feel important. When i click on the small tab on right side of my new entry name to pull those fields up..the data appears to override in back ground where you could see the faint input of 'serial number' heading, etc. How do i capture that data as well as find a way to display on the probably hundreds of entries i've already input over the years as WELL as adding the new item(new laptop). thx in advance
