Validate & Repair
I have two fidelity accounts whose sidebar total is twice what it should be and I cannot find the Validate & Repair option on the File menu

Quicken Mac doesn't have those options.
There are known issues going on with Fidelity right now.

It's very doubtful you have a database issue. (FYI: Validate & Repair, reindexing, etc. are relics of older databases. The Mac version uses a much more modern DB, and doesn't include those as any maintenance tasks as anything required is likely occurring behind the scenes automatically. It is far more fault tolerant/self-healing.)
Regarding the Fidelity issues Jon noted (which likely occurred as you migrated to Quicken Connect): The usual culprit for Fidelity accounts roughly doubling in value is that Securities are now being downloaded with a slightly different name, so Quicken imports them as different and new holdings which adds to the transx already in you file. You will have to look at your transactions to confirm-especially at the beginning for placeholders.
If so, you will want to set the fund type of the new one to the correct type (i.e. Mutual Fund), and merge the old and similar named security (with same ticker) via the Securities Window. It's a simple process and usually only takes a few minutes to clean up. But, you have to look at your transx and securities to confirm.
I also see some errant recent cash transactions that have to be deleted.
