YTD budget / report option

The monthly budget screens are great but some categories have longer term reporting requirements. It would be nice if either the budget or a report offered a YTD option. (I see that supporting the desktop's rollover functionality was already suggested and has a lot of support — including mine. That would be another way to solve this but it's been over 4 years with no action by development, so I'm wondering if perhaps this would be easier / quicker to implement?)
