Fidelity Account Connection Update Question
I just did the account update with R64.25. My question is whether I should have selected my Fidelity Visa to come from them or left it set to ELAN which is what I did? Reading other comments here is my negative experiences.
- I have had multiple Fidelity accounts (Closed) over the years. I did not select them to add to Quicken. But new accounts were created which I deleted.
- For each of these new accounts, I had to tell it there was a zero cash balance.
- For specifically my active IRA account, there were pending transactions. I have not rationalized it yet but about 5 of the 10 items in the account came up with improper share balances.

Hello @Bione,
Thank you so much for your response—I appreciate you taking the time to follow up. I'm really glad to hear that the earlier issues you were experiencing have been resolved; that’s always a relief.
I also want to acknowledge the biller concerns you mentioned. I completely understand how frustrating those types of issues can be. Since those are being discussed in a separate thread, please continue to follow up there so we can keep the community organized and make it easier for others to follow along.

Hello @Bione,
Thanks for the detailed post. Just to clarify — are the issues you listed (extra accounts, zero balances, incorrect shares, etc.) things you're currently experiencing, or are you referencing what you’ve seen reported by other users?Either way, happy to help sort out what’s happening with your Fidelity Visa account and investment account setup. It’s definitely important to get those aligned correctly so you're not chasing down inaccurate data.
As for your Fidelity Visa using the ELAN instance, as long as you are not seeing any issues with it, I don't see anything wrong with leaving it the way it is.
Hope you find this helpful!Quicken Alyssa

Those issues I mentioned all happened to me. Since this posting I have deleted all of the new accounts that were erroneously opened. I have also share balanced the IRA account that was in question. I wonder since there was an account update going on along with new transactions that were pending on this account if something did not happen out of order. In any case all is good at the moment.
I left the Fidelity Visa with ELAN but on another post, mentioned it has not picked up the new balance posting last week along with Comcast Cable since the Bill changeover.
