Recent Quicken update problem

I had two issues. One was the inability to click and update. I could not get past the "administrator" request. I had to do a manual update. My second issue relates to Fidelity and Bank of Amer. Both offer direct links on their sites to related accounts (Bank of Amer to Merrill Lynch) and (Fidelity to Elan credit card). These 4 accounts are separately listed in my Quicken (diff names and passwords). When I "reauthorized" these accounts and clicked on my ELAN credit card, Quicken updated ALL my Fidelity accounts, but not that one. Merrill had similar issues. Quicken appears to have had an issue with these accounts that have access to related sites within the original bank / financial institution. I have Q Premier and use Windows.

    Hello @Mpsahs777,

Thanks for your post — I appreciate you sharing the issues you're running into.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you’re referring to a recent Quicken software update, not just an update to your account transactions — is that right? Are you still experiencing issues updating, or has that been resolved?

With your Merrill Lynch and Bank of America accounts, when you went through the reauthorization process, did you first deactivate those accounts in Quicken before reconnecting them? If not, let's start there. I would first save a backup. Then deactivate ALL accounts with these four financial institutions, and then go through the reauthorizing process again.

Happy to assist further if needed.
