Merrill lynch reauthorization message - keeps showing up for margin account

the "reauthorization message" for my merrill accounts keeps popping up..i have reauthorized, deactivated, etc. - several time. it all seems to come down to one account thats problematic, it keeps downloading as a credit card vs. brokerage…its a margin account; when i reauthorize just for this one account, it wants to connect it to a credit card and the existing account doesnt show up to link to. any suggestions on fixing…its more annoying than anything, as the balance updates and down loads appear to be working…thanks

    It’s super helpful that you’ve been able to narrow the issue down to just the margin account — that definitely helps with troubleshooting. Just in case, could you double-check if there are any old or hidden Merrill Lynch accounts still connected in your Quicken file? Sometimes these can continue triggering reauthorization prompts. You can check this by going to Tools > Account List and selecting "Show hidden accounts".

    If you’ve confirmed that no other accounts are lingering, please go to Help > Report a Problem in Quicken and submit your log files. That will allow me to review how the financial institution is sending the information over and help us dig a bit deeper into what's going on.
