How Can I link a "new" account to an old one

I just added the BoA accounts- given the absolutely more annoying than words can describe- change to the automatic upload.

Quicken does not offer me a choice to link the "new" account to the "old account". I did the poer steps in validating my account with BoA, it lists my checking account, I had the option to add new or link. When I tried to link, it did not offer me a choice of the old account.

You can't link to accounts that are already setup for online access which is what I suspect is happening. You have to deactivate it first.

Cancel out the setup process if you haven't already, and File: Save a Backup as a safeguard.

Then, go into the BOA account settings. The icon for Settings is at the lower right. Click on the Downloads button and click on the button to Disconnect Account. Save.

Then repeat the linking step you have tried before, and you should now see that account available to link to.
