Bank of America_Not able to access accounts details after authorizing quicken access
Morning,
I am able to access Bank of America, I entered user username and password, next window that comes up Bank of America to confirm access to quicken which I do. next window, "you're ready to download transactions and you have 10 minutes". I click continue and it takes me back to enter username and password for BOA. I entered username and pasword, takes me to accounts but when I click to get details on transactions. it takes me back to sign in again to BOA and the process to confirm quicken etc starts again. I am able to download transactions, I am using quicken classic R64.30 build 27.1.64.30 and subscription ok until 2/2026. I contacted BOA and they said is Quicken issue. I deactivated my BOA accounts, deleted BOA links from browsers and setup again but issue continues. BTW.. I used 3 different browsers and all have the same issue. I called BOA tech support and they said it is a quicken issue.
Anyone having this issue?
I used quicken with BOA I think Saturday or Sunday 10/4 & 10/5 with no issues. I did confirm quicken authorization and was able to get the details of transactions.
Thanks

I also had a problem. I found these two articles below. I have three BOA accounts and I only disabled one (small one) and then went to Add Account and reconnected to BOA from the link provided. I logged into BOA and was able to select all three accounts and it went back to Quicken. In Quicken, review "Link Account to Existing" (one was wrong) and it updated correctly.

I had a Quicken rep on a share screen session who walked me thru the reac and deac process, incl reauth Quicken w/BofA. The data that was imported included many extra items of both accounts i have with BofA. I will try the articles you provided.

@Royhern1 - I've been experiencing this issue with BoA's web portal for about 2-3 weeks now. Don't let them tell you it's Quicken's fault as I'm not even using quicken, I'm just trying to sign-in to BoA. After sign-in, I can see my account balances, but if I click into any account (Chk, Sav, CC), I'm immediately brought back to the BoA login page. I did manage to get in once after I cleared the Edge browser cache for all BoA sites, then the next day the issue is back and I'm stuck recycling the sign-in page. This is a BoA site issue.

Hello All,
Thank you all for chiming in on this thread, and I am happy to help.
Interesting information shared by @SillyKeith. Can I have you all try what worked for them and clear your browsers' cache and cookies, and try again?
Before doing so, save a backup. I would make sure all Bank of America accounts are disconnected in Quicken. Then clear cache and cookies. Navigate to the Bank of America website from a web browser and revoke third-party access for Quicken. Then reconnect the accounts by going through that authorization process again in Quicken.
Let us know how it goes!

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Mine is the same as others in this thread and have not found a workaround; have tried all the above suggestions but nothing has worked. BOA support has not be helpful.

Hello All,
Thank you all for reporting this issue.
Can I have you all check for any hidden accounts that may still be connected? If you do have hidden accounts, please make sure they are disconnected, and see if this loop situation continues.
We will be forwarding this issue to the proper channels to have this further investigated. However, we request that you please navigate to Help > Report a problem within your Quicken program and submit a problem report with log files and screenshots attached in order to contribute to the investigation.
It would also aid the investigation to include a sanitized file when submitting the problem report. A sanitized file is a data file that removes personally identifiable information so you can comfortably share this file with the Quicken team.
While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.
Please let me know once you have confirmed that hidden accounts weren't causing this issue and you have submitted your logs, so I can add them to the ticket.Thank you!
