Edit / customize columns in splits (Q Mac)

I'm sure this must have been asked but couldn't find, please can we have a way to edit (remove!) unnecessary columns in splits - like Tags and transfer?

I use a TON of splits and have many entries with 5-15 splits in them and having to tab tab tab is crazy especially to bypass things I have never used like tags - and I have ZERO idea why there would be a Transfer in the middle of a split entry.

It would be great if we could add or delete the items we want in there.

Even better if we could scroll down and up in splits like we used to be able to in Q2007, for things that endlessly repeat (like the same category over and over). But it is likely this is an inherent part of the architecture of the database. But thought I'd ask!
