Trouble connecting Synchrony Credit Cards

When I try to connect Quicken with 2 cards that specifically say Synchrony Bank on the back, using the username and passwords for those accounts, using the "Synchrony Bank Credit Cards option, and not misspelling or anything… All I get is "Ooos. Did you mistype your login?" No, I did not!!

    Tried other options that I saw on other discussions (that are closed), Guitar Center, Furniture company, Amazon Sam's Club personal card, which one of mine is…same Ooops message. Have spoken to both Quicken and Synchrony…no help at all, just a waste of an hour or two on the phone…It seems like nothing seems to work smoothly and more. I'll blame reliance on AI.

    I'm having the same problem with my new Walgreen's Synchrony Bank card. It won't let me set up automatic downloads. Quicken says it's the bank. The bank has a stupid AI "helper" that doesn't help. I was able to log into my Synchrony account and download to Quicken, however.

    Hello @jtoolen & @Hecky,

    Thank you both for sharing your experiences, though I am sorry you are both getting a CC-503 error with Synchrony.

    I can see that you both have tried more than one of the Synchrony instances in Quicken and are getting the CC-503 with all of them. This error occurs when your financial institution tells Quicken that your login credentials are incorrect.

    We do have a Known Issue with Synchrony, but it is different from the issue you both are having. Please check out this Support Article that covers this error and follow the suggested steps, and let us know how it goes.

    I was just able to connect my Walgreens MC using the Sam's Club Personal Credit financial institution. I do have both of these cards and when I logged in through Quicken they both showed up as available to link.
