I have already reauthorized Merrill / BOA to the new connection method, and now I am getting a lot of CC-505 errors saying Quicken is unable to connect to all of my Merrill / BOA accounts.

This error message is typically caused by a temporary issue on your bank's servers. The first step is to wait 24 hours and try again. But I can see that you have been getting this error for multiple days in a row now.
Please take a look at this Support Article for CC-505, and try the suggested steps therein. If those do not resolve the issue, please contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance.
