Schwab: SWGXX with a negative share balance. How to fix?

In Holdings, Quicken shows a negative number of SWGXX* shares (let's say -1,000) and the cash is too high by that exact $1,000. I would love to zero-out the SWGXX shares and show the -1,000 reflected in the cash, but haven't figured out how to do that. Can anyone help? Using EWC+.

*SWGXX is a Government Money Market fund at $1 per share

In case it helps, likely due to a change to EWC+, I had bigger fish to fry with Schwab accounts that had missing or totally incorrect values prior to 6/28/2025, and I was unable to add missing or edit wrong prices myself, nor could I download historical prices. After a Quicken rep told me to make a copy of my quicken file, which I then validated, I was able to manually add month end values so at least I could get a YTD account balance report. Anyway, after updating and saving the updates, I had to reauthorize all the accounts, and yet the SWGXX still shows as a negative shares.

    Hi @varlene,

It sounds like there is a missing entry somewhere in your accounts. To fix that (using the "let's say" numbers that you provided above) you likely only to enter a new transaction the would be a BUY of 1.000 shares of SWGXX for $1,000. That should fix whatever transaction(s) are clearly missing in your accounts.

    Let us how that goes.

A lovely quick solution, so much so, that I failed to see it for myself. Many thanks for your help!!
