Should I "Change Connection method" on Wells Fargo Visa from Direct to Express?

I have a WF Visa card I set up a some months ago for a specific purchase with 0% interest for 12 months, and have auto-pay setup on WF site. After the last payment is made, I might start using it for other unusual purchases, but probably just let it lapse. Anyway, I have the opportunity to convert from Direct Connect to Express Web Connect (no "+"). Would there be any benefit (aside from not having to store password in the Vault) to switching? Any downsides? Here's the screenshot where I clicked "No" for now.

Direct connect is usually preferred if available, but many FI's have migrated away, leaving EWC as usually the only choice. They have to pay for direct connect but don't directly for EWC, other than providing the web connect download file. I just went through a similar situation with first Internet Bank of Indiana which dropped direct connect. So far it has worked out there for me and it certainly beats having to manually go to a web site every day to download a web connect file.

if you can keep direct connect with no extra charges, then definitely stay with that.
