One Step Update crashing Qkn

Opened Quicken Windows this morning and requested One Step Update. Qkn crashed.

Restarted and requested OSU again. Qkn started synching Qkn and Qkn Cloud, which I have OFF. That hung up and I finally had to quit Qkn via the Task Manager.

Restarted and requested OSU again. Downloaded okay.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am glad to hear you were able to download.

I do have a couple of things we can check.

Where is your file located?
Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party services like OneDrive, Carbonite, Dropbox, or Norton?
Was this the first time this has happened?
Did you have anything else ocurring at the same time, like pending Windows updates?
When Quicken crashed, did it produce a BugSplat report?

Let's start with that and we can go from there.

File located on my computer.
No sync that would affect Quicken. Do not use any of the services you mention.
Unfortunately, OSU will crash on occasion. I just ignore it and restart. Don't recall seeing the sync issue which is why I made this report.
Nothing else going on with my computer at the time other than my checking email.
No report generated.

I did a validate a week or two ago. No issues noted.
