My Quicken Is Totally Messed Up

I have been using Quicken Classic Deluxe for many years but lately, it has been totally inaccurate with my checking, savings and credit card accounts up to thousands of dollars. Charging amounts to the wrong accounts. creating strange new accounts for no reason. I know that the banks are correct and Quicken is wrong. I can make balance adjustments, opening balance adjustments and the next day the accounts in Quicken will be off again. Would I be better off to shut down my Quicken altogether and start from scratch or try to correct all the errors?

Yes, I do. I can't figure out what is going on. Most, if not all of my accounts are going crazy. Some of my accounts are being duplicated with slightly different names. After I deleted the new accounts Quicken created, some came back. New accounts with strange garbled names are being created. Some credit cards, when payments are made to them from my checking account, are transferring from themselves instead of from the checking accounts where they are scheduled to be transferred in Bills & Income or they are transferred from other credit card accounts.

I'm seriously thinking of closing my accountm and starting over as a new user.
