Group transactions in Mac lost during port from Win to Mac

I recently moved my Win Quicken Classic to Mac. (Good-bye Windows!). The group transactions that existed in Win did not transfer to Mac in the process.

My group transaction in Win would pay a lump sum from checking and transfer to a Buy of 5 separate holdings in an investment account to include the commission for each Buy.
How do I create a group transaction in Mac or a workaround that Buys multiple holdings once a month.

Different question: I want to freeze my Win subscription so it will always work with Win 10. How do I stop Quicken for Win updates, while continuing to accept the updates in Mac?

I cannot answer the first question re: group transactions. The second question should be posted in the Windows section of this forum for the fastest reply.

What I can say is that this is not built into Quicken. You have to use Windows settings, to prevent this. IIRC, one method involves adjusting the UAC settings, another involves creating a firewall rule. Users in that area of the forum can answer best (though it has been answered before, so you might find it by searching

I don't know of any way to do #1 in Quicken Mac in a single transaction or single action on your part. You'd have to have a transfer transaction to move the money from checking to your investment account and then 5 Buy transactions to make the purchases. You can create a scheduled transaction for the transfer but you cannot schedule the Buy transactions. The best you could do would be to duplicate the previous month's buys but you'd have to edit each duplicated transaction to change the date and the purchase price.
