cashless dividend is saved as a stock split making a mess

I've tried a few times now to correct it but you cannot edit the register as cashless dividend does not show up, only stksplit shows up. There is already a posting but no answer to the issue. When will this be resolved?

What is your real world transaction? If you share the company, someone might be able to research a bit and help you out.
A cashless dividend whereby you get some additional shares may indeed possibly get treated as a stock split, or there could be other possibilities. As is often the case, the devil is in the details.
Likely, it may also be relevant whether you own your shares in one lot or in multiple lots.
