Have Quicken look for recurring monthly/quarterly/annual charges. This is useful in finding subscriptions that you may have forgotten about.
Other companies offer this feature in their financial tracking apps.

Are you a Quicken for Mac user or Quicken for Windows?

As a Quicken for Windows user myself, I would look at two places to help identify recurring payments:

    1. Run a Report of transactions in all accounts, Spending by Payee Name, for this year, with columns by month.
Review the report. Recurring payments should be easy to identify.
    2. Look in the Tools / Bills and Income Reminders view under Options / Suggest Reminders, "Suggest Reminders based on past activity". This should point out recurring payment transactions for which no Scheduled Reminder transaction exists. (This function might not be available on the Mac)

Of course, you need to ensure that your Payee Names are meaningful. Variable Payee Names like "POS TRANS 070124 STARBU", "POS TRANS 070224 STARBU", "POS TRANS 070324 STARBU" should be renamed to just simply "Starbucks" so that you can easily see how much money you're really spending on your daily cup of coffee.
