How do I correct double transitions counting in an IRA account?

Traditional IRA was not showing transactions just the account balance so it wasn't reporting important transactions such as RMDs. I tried to update the account but the result has been double counting the account. The account balance is double what it ought to be. How do I fix the problem without wiping out all the data? Thanks

    Hi, @gcbrian

It would help if you provide a few details: Are you using Simple or Detailed downloading for this investment account? And if the former, can you see other transactions in the Transactions view? Is it that older transactions are there, but new transactions are no longer downloading?

What do you see in the Portfolio view? Do you see double counting of securities? Cash Account? All these places are starting points to look at. Does the cash amount roughly align with one of the securities?

Also, adding what Financial Institution holds this IRA would help. You mentioned two issues: not seeing your RMDs and a "double counting".

Flesh in some of the details, and maybe one of us can help. Thanks!
