Downloads changed from Debit to Credit won't match up on Quicken
A couple of years ago my downloads to quicken from my Mastercard changed from a debit to a credit and now I'm always out of balance on my register and every month the numbers are inverted so I need to put in an adjustment. Did something get messed up and can I change it back?

There are known problems with some banks downloading transactions with amounts reversed, i.e., charges appear as payments and payments appear as charges.You may want to search the Community by the bank or card name, to see if your problem has already been reported.
Instead of making adjustment transactions, simply reverse the sign of the amount of each incorrectly downloaded transaction, e.g., for a charge transaction make the amount negative, for a payment make the amount positive.

It's President Choice Elite Mastercard, Ontario, have had it for years and then all of a sudden a change. At present I'm just trying to see if this is a problem others have encountered and how they solved it, there has to be an easier way that going in and changing each transaction every month. I have plenty of activity so that's why I'm just doing a one time adjustment
