Several duplicate entries +/- found in my PNC Bank checking acct ledger today after performing a routine update using Quicken Classic Deluxe Windows. I'm using Quicken Build: 27.1.64.35

Has this been reported elsewhere in the Community?

Update for clarification : the duplicates are occurring in my Quicken ledger, not in my actual PNC Bank Acct.

    Hello @REJones,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

We do have a Known Issue for missing transactions with PNC, but not one for duplicates. Please check out this Support Article for duplicate transactions.

As stated in the article, if this is not an isolated event and continues happening, please contact Quicken Support directly so they can investigate this issue further and process an escalation if needed.

    Thank you!

Just to let you know… I just spent about 3 hours deleting my duplicate PNC transactions. Hoping my next sync will not create more.

That sounds painful Jerry. I had only 6 duplicate checking account ledger entries to deal with in Quicken, so it was brief and simple to delete them. Afterwards, I processed a routine/monthly credit card bill payment and sent it to my PNC checking acct via Direct Connect (with fingers crossed). All turned out OK…no duplicate entries appeared this time.

I was getting duplicate transactions as well. Make sure you accept and delete the transactions so they don't continue to download

I'm on Mac but yes, I'm getting duplicated downloaded transactions. It happened first last month, on the first update after PNC/Quicken sorted out the connection problem i had several duplicated transactions in PNC checking AND the balance was skewed after I deleted the dupes. After deleting the dupes and correcting the balance all has been well until today. This morning I again had a duplicate, this time only one but it duped it twice. I have another ongoing issue with Quicken relating to connection problems. I've spent several hours on both chat and phone with them and as of yet don't have a solution. Arrrgghhh

    Hello All,

Thank you all for continuing to report these duplicate transaction issues with PNC Bank. To help our teams investigate and work toward a resolution, we’ll need a bit more information from you:

    1. Examples of the duplicate transactions – Please provide a few specific transactions that have duplicated so we can see the pattern.
    2. Downloaded ID – For each example, include the downloaded ID from the Quicken download (if available). See instructions below to find this.
    3. Quicken Windows:
      1. Add the Downloaded ID column to your register
        1. Click on the Register Columns gear icon at the top right of the account register. image.png
        2. Place a checkmark next to Downloaded ID then click Done (If you use Two-Line Display, you will need to select Downloaded ID andDownloaded reference) image.png
      2. Review the Downloaded ID. This is the unique identifier for each downloaded transaction. It is used by Quicken to determine which transactions have been downloaded and which ones need to be downloaded.
    4. Quicken Mac:
      1. You can enable the FITID column by clicking the Columns button at the bottom of the register and selecting FITID. image.png

You can submit this information here in the thread, or along with your log files, screenshots, and a sanitized copy of your data file via Help > Report a Problem in Quicken—Attn: CTP‑15396. Let us know when you have done so.

We appreciate your help and patience as our teams work to resolve this issue.
