Users on both Quicken Classic for Windows and Mac are reporting connection errors when attempting to update accounts with CIBC Bank USA – Personal Banking following the bank’s recent digital banking upgrade (October 27–November 1).
- Mac users are receiving FDP-163 errors, indicating that Quicken’s financial data platform is unable to connect to the bank.
- Windows users are receiving CC-511 errors with similar connection failure symptoms.
Reports indicate the issue began shortly after CIBC’s online and mobile banking overhaul and persists across both platforms, preventing successful account updates or reauthorization.
This has been escalated internally, though we do not have an ETA at this time.
