I am trying to import credit card transactions to an existing credit card file using File Import Web Connect QFX file. I was succesful before but now the option to link to an existing account is not active?

Desjardins bank does not support direct transfer so I download an ofx file and rename it qfx.

    Hello @David Viking,

Thank you for sharing what is working for you. I'm sure others will find this information useful.

Sometimes, when the "Link to existing" option doesn't come up, and only "Don't add to Quicken" is displayed, it is because Quicken thinks the account is already connected.

To resolve this, you can deactivate the account and then try importing the QFX file again.

    1. Select the Tools menu and select Account List....

    2. In the Account List, select the account you want to deactivate, and then click Edit.

    3. In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.

    4. Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.

    5. Click Yes to the message confirming if you want to disable this service.

    Hope this helps!
