Continuing issues with faulty data after Fidelity downloads

Quicken user since the mid 90s and this latest conversion method (EWC) with Fidelity continues to be a horrible experience. Currently running Classic Premier, version R65.17 on Windows 11. After the initial announcement I followed the migration instructions perfectly(or so I thought) and the downloaded data matched within a few dollars. However, all my history was missing prior to September 1, 2025. Last week, I had some stock splits as cash distributions. Quicken indicates these are splits and adds additional shares to the portfolio in several accounts, which of course significantly changes the value of the accounts. I have deleted and re-authorized the accounts multiple times and I continue to have the same issues. I spoke with Fidelity and they indicated I needed to speak with Quicken and they provided a number for me to call. Apparently, this is just a regular customer support number and their solution was to speak with Fidelity as it is their data causing the problem. They did suggest creating a new account and adding the Fidelity accounts to see if the data is now correct. I did this and have the history prior to 9/1/25 again, but the data is even more inaccurate. The accounts are now off by at least 10 times what they are in my original Quicken account and transactions are for the wrong amounts and/or dates. I have Fidelity accounts and all are a mess including Cash accounts.

I'm not sure where to go from here unless someone has had the same issues and can offer a solution. Maybe it's time to try something else.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If you add a new account, aren't you losing your history and cost data?

Previous to the EWC format update (months), I had to delete my Fidelity accounts and reload and had no history issues. This time I also created a new Quicken file and only added the Fidelity accounts, which is where the history was once again there from day 1, but the dollar amounts were way off.
