One day good, one day bad - Continuous CC-501 Errors - Bank of America

I have not had beyond one consecutive since early December day when I can get a one-step update to work without getting a CC-501 error from Bank of America.

I have tried to reset, reactivate, reinstall, reauthenticate….and now i am just really frustrated. Clearly based upon the many discussion groups here there consistently appears to be problems with the various handshaking and protocols with Bank of America.

Are you working to make this connection more reliable and stable without me having to delete and then relink my accounts every other day or week?

Which Bank of America financial institution name are your accounts connected to?

    AFAIK, …

    • Bank of America - All other States is obsolete
    • Bank of America - Quicken is the new kid on the block and should be used for ALL your BofA accounts.

Deactivate all BofA accounts, then use Tools / Add Account, select the new bank name and follow the procedure to reactivate all your accounts. Be sure to correctly LINK all accounts found at the bank to their correct existing account register counterparts in Quicken.
