Academy Sports & Outdoor Credit Card with Comenity

I've tried all of the posts I can find here on the forum to connect my Academy CC. This includes selecting Comenity Credit Card from the list of institutions. None of the options are working. The specific issue that I'm having with the Comenity Credit Card selection is that it is using "comenity.net" as can be seen in the top left hand corner of the figure below. I even clicked on this link that launches in a browser where I tested my Academy Comenity Credit Card credentials. It reports back that my username and password are not found.

My credentials do work at the following address:

Can we get an Academy Comenity Credit Card addition using this web link?

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

I checked the financial institution directory, and no instance in Quicken uses that specific URL. However, for a financial institution to support downloads to Quicken and to be added to our bank list, the request to be added would need to be made and submitted by the financial institution to our service providers. 

If you want Quicken to be supported, you will need to contact your financial institution directly and tell them you'd like to download your accounts into Quicken. Comenity does have several other connections in Quicken, so they would just need to request one specifically for the Academy Sports & Outdoor Credit Card.

@Quicken Alyssa Thanks for the guidance. I don't know who I could reach out to directly at Comenity but might poke around when I have a few minutes to look into it. It's certainly curious how some here in the community seem to have gotten it to work. I suspect it has everything to do with how their credentials are setup on which specific portal at Comenity. Example, if you have a Comenity account online and then add an Academy card I would think the Academy card would get added to your current credentials and then would get pulled into Quicken with other Comenity accounts through the primary portal credentials. But, just speculation.

@Quicken Alyssa Oh, what would be the best way for Comenity or Comenity Academy to reach out? Is there an email address or phone number for them to contact?

In the meantime, I submitted a secure message through the bank portal to request the addition. 🤷‍♂️

If that doesn't give the expected results, try calling or sending an email to the office of the president of Comenity. That should get the ball rolling, I hope.

@UKR Good idea. I've done this with several major corporations, and it typically works if the message is sent professionally and succinctly. We'll give the secure message a few days and see what happens first.

Well, I've received a response from Comenity Bank and it sounds like my request to add Academy Credit Card to Quicken has made it to the right department. We shall see…
