Where is Quicken for Mac Going?
Just got the update this morning for 8.4.2. Lots of new features added, but why is Quicken just trying to catch up with Quickbooks? I already use that product and do not need business options for Quicken for Mac. I started using Quicken 30 plus years ago and it was a powerful personal program that had an incredible investment capacity. Today's Mac version of Quicken does not come close to what the old mac version of Quicken had??? I now see why, they are not interested in the Investment side of personal finance. They want to be a Quickbooks copy cat app.
It would be helpful if Quicken could lay out its future path for users to try and asses whether it is a good fit for them or not.
A note to Quicken: You used to be an incredible app on the mac. Please, all you need to add to the Investment side of your portfolio is a better asset allocation module and you will be halfway there to making yourselves one of the best desktop apps again.
Thanks for adding this to your to do list.
