Target National Bank download issues

Quicken has quit downloading transactions for Target National Bank. It seems to connect and doesn't give any errors, but no transactions are downloaded. I've tried resetting the connection with no change. I also tried downloading the transactions as an OFX file from the website and got the following error when I tried to import them into Quicken:

Download Unavailable!

Quicken is unable to update this account because Web Connect support for your financial institution has been either temporarily or permanently discontinued [CC-885].

Is anyone else having these issues, or does anyone know how to fix it?

    Hello @MplsP,

    Thank you for sharing your experience and reporting the issues you are seeing.

    The CC-885 error occurs when Quicken is unable to update this account because Web Connect/Express Web Connect support for your financial institution has been temporarily or permanently discontinued.

    Contacting the bank may be helpful, as the QFX/OFX file does come directly from them, and they may be able to provide some insight into the issue. If you receive this error message for more than 24 hours and are unable to get anywhere with the bank, please reach out to Quicken Support directly.

    That still doesn't explain why the account syncing is not working. when I set up the connection under account setting it finds the account, connects without an issue and even shows the correct balance in the information box. When I select 'update account' to have it download transactions the wheel spins and then turns green without it downloading anything.

    Ok - minor update. I disconnected the account (Accounts → Settings… → Downloads tab → Disconnect account) Then I added an entirely new account (Accounts → Add Account… ) Selecting Target National Bank as before. It connected without an issue and I created an entirely new account with the connection. When I synced the new account it had the correct current balance and downloaded transactions from 1/22/24 up to 12/19/25 but nothing more recent than that.

    Based on this, quicken is connecting, can see the balance and can see older transactions but fails to see or download the recent transactions.

    I've had this issue since last spring and still no answers. I've brought this to the attention of both Quicken and Target National Bank several times with no answers. Rediculous!!!!!!!

    Another update - I chatted online with someone from quicken who said "It seems to be a general issue" and "this issue is already being worked on so I will report your account as one of the affected so Quicken work on it."

    No ETA on resolution and it's clearly been an issue for a while so this is not helpful and doesn't give me hope they'll do anything.

    Missing transactions with Target Red Card and Target National Bank is a Known Issue. Our teams are aware, and this has been escalated internally, though we do not have an ETA at this time.

    This has been going on for a very long time. For me, the balance is always updated correctly, so there's no problem with the connection. Transactions are hit or miss. Sometimes it downloads the transactions, sometimes it doesn't. It seems to have something to do with the statement date, but I download once per week and some transactions never show up.

    I've gone as long as 6 months without using my Target card because of it. Every so often, I check to see if it's been fixed, but it never works correctly.
