Errors with download of fixed income security buy transactions from Fidelity Investments.

For awhile now, when buys of fixed income security transaction are downloaded from Fidelity Investments which include a payment of accrued interest, the Price and Amount are incorrect. I think this problem may have started with the transition to Express Web Connect+ to download transactions from Fidelity.

A recent transaction was to buy 20,000 of a Bank CD at a price of 102.015. Two transactions are downloaded - one for the principal amount and one for accrued interest.

The transaction for the principal amount should be 20,403.00. However, somehow the transaction is downloaded for the amount of 20,562.67, which incorrectly includes the accrued interest of 159.67, and the Price is incorrectly adjusted to 102.81335.

To fix this problem, I proceed by accepting both transaction into the register and then edit the price of the principal amount transaction and select Total Amount for the value for Quicken to recalculate.

I am on the latest version R65.29 of Quicken Classic for Windows.

I called Quicken Support and was told that no one else has reported this problem, which I find hard to believe, and I should contact Fidelity for a solution. I expressed my dismay and disbelief and said I think that Quicken should take the lead to resolve this with Fidelity. The support person had me create a test file to download transactions from Fidelity but the same problem occurred - so, no resolution and no suggestions from Quicken Support other than for me to contact Fidelity.
