After spending hours on the phone with Quicken support, my inquiry was escalated and I was then informed that a security update was implemented in December 2025. This means that whenever I transfer my files to a laptop for travel I have to re-link to my banks and brokerages. Then I have to do it again when I return to my desktop at home.
Since I have multiple banks, brokerages and credit card companies, this is extremely cumbersome.
I find it hard to accept that this bug is really a new feature and wonder if they were simply trying to end the call or if others are having the same experience.
